Juggling with Multi-Account Containers

Are you a roleplayer? Do you have multiple active muses spread across multiple accounts?

So, I know that LJ Juggler is a thing, but I personally find it a bit clunky for my personal usage. That's where this alternative comes in. If you use Firefox, there's an add-on you can use created by Mozilla called Firefox Multi-Account Containers.

So, what does Multi-Account Containers do? In short, you can create a new container tab, and log in to several accounts on one website, all within the same browser. Each container tab has its own cookies, meaning you can use it across the web to keep different websites separate. (They also have an add-on specifically for keeping Facebook in its own container, and preventing FB from tracking you around the web. You can find that here.)

On to more Dreamwidth related use, say you have two characters currently active in a game, and you need to either log out and then back in on the other account manually, use LJ juggler, or set up multiple browsers to actively use two accounts simultaneously. No more! Simply set up a container for each character — go ahead and pick a colour you associate with them!

Once you've set up containers for as many of your characters as you need, you can go right ahead and open Dreamwidth in a new container tab.

Log in as you normally would, hit remember me if you don't want to keep logging in. When you close this container tab, you need only reopen it again and you should remain logged in on whichever account you were previously signed in to. This allows you to access multiple accounts, within one browser, with no messy switching!
